Italian American Heritage Month at TCNJ!
The Italian Club was able to see months worth of planning come to life in their first ever celebration of Italian American Heritage Month at the College of New Jersey. The Italian Club put on a month worth of events that showcased and represented the postive contributions and achievements of the Italian American people.
October is Italian American Heritage Month at TCNJ!
TCNJ Italian Club will be having a month long list of events. Be sure to keep a look out for everything on campus!
-October 4th- Movie Showing of "The Man that will come." 6pm in the Library Auditorium.
-October 5th- Kick off Event in the Student Center Lobby 12pm. Dancing and Give away of Italian Cookies.
-October 12th- Italian Club Jeopardy. Come out and Test your knowledge on the Italian Culture. 12pm-1pm Social Sciences Building Room 128
-October 21st-October 31st- Walkway of Famous Italian Americans. Come check out the long and diverse list of our nation's famous Italian Americans. The path the connects the Student Center with the Library.
- October 26st- 2nd Annual TCNJ Bocce Ball Tournament. 12pm-3pm at Sun Dial Lawn (Outside the STUD by Football Field.)
-October 29th- A Celebration of Italian American Achievement- Presentations by award winning Poet Maria Fama, Rutgers Professor and Historian Dr. Vincenzo Pascale and News Correspondent for the Italian Newspaper La Stampa Maurizio Molinari. Library Auditorium 3pm-7pm Refreshments will be served.
